This is a word that I didn't have much to work with, so I got a little creative.
This should have been posted on the 18th. I lost track of the date. Instead of retroactively manipulating the post's date, I'm publishing this on the next even numbered day.
The word metal doesn't occur in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or Through the Looking-glass.
Miresua is an imaginary, artificial, constructed language; a conlang. These words are not randomly generated. Miresua is an eclectic alphabetic mix of Basque and Finnish, two unrelated European languages.

My previous Miresua word for tin was iltenu.
I'm changing this word because I'm using tina, instead of pelti, for the Finnish word. Pelti can mean tin in Finnish, but it also means sheet metal, tin plate. Tina can also means pewter, a tin alloy.

Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin.
My previous word for "bronze" was "berinso". Another small change. I swapped the vowels o and i. This makes my word for "bronze" contain the common letters of "ron" in sequence, like in the Basque and Finnish words (and the English word too).
